This traditional covered water well, could be found mostly in the rural areas.
It is a history fact that wells started to be dug in the Neolithic era, somewhere between 7,000 – 10,000 BC.
The first wells appear to have been constructed in farming regions.
Until the beginning of the 19th century, wells were still dug by hand, and it wasn't until 1808 that mechanical drilling was first used to create wells.
This model is a 28mm scale model, laser cut on 2mm and 3mm MDF, with laser etched detail. Comes unpainted and unassembled and features approximately 1.97" x 1.97" x 2.01" dimensions.
